We (four colleagues) had invested Rs. 4 Lakhs with Avani Realtors, Goregaon, Mumbai in their scheme which promised returns of 20% per month.
However their cheques started bouncing soon. All phone calls were not taken. When we managed to meet their director Dakshita (the promoter Mr. Parag Patel seems to be in hiding!) she was elusive and said you submit the cheques again and they will be honoured. Again we submitted and again they bounced.
We heard lots of people's cheques have been bouncing of late and the staff is incommunicado.
We seem to be having no alternative but to file a case in the court.
