I am a Future Credit Card holder, which is a loyalty cum credit card issued by the Future Holdings group, who are the promoters of Big Bazar.
As per the loyalty program, all the General Merchandize purchases in Big Bazar is eligible for 10% discount and all Food Items are 3% discount.
Every time, I do purchase at Bigbazar, I show the coupons issued by the credit card company which shows that I am eligible for the discount.
But the people at the cash counter doesnt pass on the discounts as promised by the credit card company. They just do some wage calculations and give a very small amount discount. There is no proper computing system which does this calculations. The cashier does some manual calculations and fix some wauge amount (which will always be much lower than what we are eligible for!!) and put it as a discount!!..
The latest, but a simple example is a small purchase which I have done today at the Big Bazar Old Madras Road - Bill # T22/13331 dated 18/09. I was eligible for about Rs. 19 discount, but was given only Rs. 5.00!!!..
This is how the company cheats the customers and loots money!!!..
