Dear Sir,
My electricity bill increased exorbitantly immediately on change of old meter to electronic meter. Details of my bi-monthly consumption of units for previous period are as - Oct.08 (786), Dec.08 (482), Feb.09 (390) April, 09 (396), June, 09 (608).
However, on installation of new meter for the reasons better known to you, on 23.07.2009 my consumption for August increased to 1141 units i.e. multiple increase from the past average consumption. Resultantly Bill also increased manifold i.e. from approx. Rs.1000-1500 to Rs.4360/-. This bill is likely to increase further because in this bill half of period was old meter.
Please look into the matter and help a service class person.
