NON AVAILABILITY OF GPRS FACILITY ON CELLONE POSTPAID CONNECTION

Dear Sir,

I am having a cellone postpaid connection in Assam circle. I stay in Guwahati city. My mobile number is 9435555682. The GPRS facility is active on my number and I am paying a monthly rental of Rs 199/-.

However since 21st February I am unable to access the GPRS facility on my handset. My handset model number is Samsung SGH-D900i. I have called your customer care many a times over the past one week to register my complaint. Every time I call up they suggest me to select the network manually, switch off the handset and again switch it on after a couple of minutes and then try to access the GPRS. I have tried the above procedure a number of times, but with no success.

If the company is unable to rectify the problem, then why should I keep paying my monthly rentals. I should rather disconnect my GPRS facility. I am not able to access the GPRS facility anywhere in Guwahati city. As far as my handset is concerned, the GPRS settings are perfectly fine as I have myself countered checked it from the customer care. In the same handset, when I put an Airtel sim, I am able to access GPRS. Thus implying that my hand set is working perfectly fine.

Please resolve my problem at the earliest or otherwise withdraw the GPRS facility on my number so that I don't end up paying Rs 199/- as monthly rental without even using the facility.
