On 25.5.09, I applied for shift of my basic landline no.04812576022 to another house which I had taken on rent. Today till 8.6.09 the connection has not been shifted. Shift is in same exchange. Repeated requests and personel visits to exchange has been doen but no result. Common reply comes from all levels of officers "cable fault and non availability of Cable pair" is their answer. Another commom answer is "we are looking into the matter".
Can anyone tell me what is the time prescribed to shift a telephone connection whithin same exchange?
