I purchased compaq presario c707tu notebook pc nearly 2 years back. After nearly 10 months of purchase, my notebook used to get automatically shut-down without any warning sign, due to over heating. As it was under warranty I consulted to the HP service center for help. They repaired something and told me that it was fine then. But soon the problem started again, so I went back to HP service center and again they did something and told that this time they have corrected the problem. After a month or so again the problem started and this time my notebook was out of warranty, so the people there told me to extend the warranty. But as they could not do anything when my notebook was under warranty so I did not extend the warranty. Now my notebook is causing a lot of problems, it does not even remain on for 1 hour when I have important work. So I want to know whether I should extend the warranty of my notebook which costs around Rs. 5000 and also will it be useful to extend the warranty, because the people at HP service center were unable to solve my problem even when it was under warranty. Please help.
