One ACER PC has NIC problem

Problem :

A recently purchased computer of ACER giving problem regarding NIC. This computer is in a network(LAN), its NIC is not working, it is not displayed in Device Manager option also(WIN Xp).

After reinstalling of NIC Driver, a message is coming 'Shut Down the PC & Plug the NIC'.
