I am Shailendra Singh resident of UCO Apartments, sector-9, plot no.34, Rohini, Delhi- 110085. I have noticed from last few months the local sweapers (they say they are MCD sweapers) are contineously dumping the local garbage at the back area of our society. This is an open area just behind our apartments that they are using to dump the garbage during morning time.
I have asked these sweapers not to dump the garbage there but they really do not care and reply back saying they are MCD staff and the garbage will be removed by MCD transport soon. However, I have also noticed once a truck and a crane came and removed just 20% of the complete garbage and vanished from from the site after just 1/2 hr. (They might have reported in their department they finished the work).
My major concern is that the open area is becomming the dumping ground for the local garbage that too because of the MCD staff. This is just behind our society and on top of it is, there is a pre-nursery school (Shemrock) just beside the site.
We have observed the MCD inspectors often visit our houses to check and isue 'Chalaans' for spreading Dangue etc. but nobody is concerned about something which is too HUGE in front of all that.
I am hoping someone will be able to sort this issue soon.
