I would like to express my displeasure towards unprofessional behaviour & repeat failure of commitments in delivering the promised project i.e. Coronation City, Haridwar by GRS Developers, where they continued to receive the money from me for the allotment of Plot of 100 Sq. yards in different installments against demands vide written official communications thru’ their office.
As on date, I don’t have any status update from their side and I’m not aware of the fate of my money lying with them against allotment of the said plot. Below are the facts listed.
1) Amount of Rs. 51000/= was paid vide cheque no. 363025 drawn on HDFC bank dt. 2/11/06 on submission of Advance Registration Form dt. 02/11/06. Subsequently, Receipt no. 0000001379 dt 24/11/06 for the amount paid was issued to me; indicating Application no. C-5/379 & booking date: 31/10/06 by the office of GRS Developers.
2) In the Advance registration form, it was mentioned that Allotment of the Plot will be done within 9 months of my registration application made herein, failing which I shall be entitled to simple interest @ 10% p.a. Thereafter. But till date, no such commitment is fulfilled.
3) In the month of Feb.’07, request letters vide reference no. CC/H.I./C-5/1379 dt. 31/01/07 was received by me from their office demanding Ist installment of Rs. 7= @ 20% of the total amount of plot (Rs 3, 60, 000/= @ Rs 3600/= per sq. yard). In this letter, it was informed that Bhoomi Pujan of Coronation City at Haridwar had already taken place on 20-01-07 & Construction work had also been started w.e.f. 21-01-07.
4) Accordingly, the payment of Rs 7= was paid by me against Ist installment, as requested, vide cheque no. 595136 dt. 22/02/07 drawn on HDFC Bank.
5) Further, I received another letter ref. no. GRS/H.O./1011 dt. 07/05/07 from their office informing that site office has started working at project site & the company may start allotment of plots in the month of July’07.
6) Also, I received a letter stating that the company has decided to pay the investors an interest of 12% p.a. On the money deposited with their office against the allotment of plots and this will be payable monthly And subsequently, the first cheque of Rs 1222/= against the interest due for the month was issued by your office. But, after this single cheque, no further interest payment was done and no communication as regards stoppage of interest payment was made. On our asking, it was informed that the company is considering the final allotment and the letters are being issued and the due amounts will be adjusted in the final payments.
7) Repeatedly, month after month, the same statements continued on our every follow-ups that the company is shortly releasing the final allotment letters & the project has reached the final stage but our suspicion grew deeper when finally this was informed by GRS Developers that H.O at Gurgaon is no more operative and only corporate office would be handling further queries. Now, the corporate office is also being contacted but nobody responds to the calls made and the bells continue ringing.
I'm not aware what to do now & how to claim my money back.
All the letters/ correspondences addressed to them are returned back as the office is always found locked on every visit of courier persons. There is no response on telephones/ no communications from the company office in this regard.
