This was happened me on july. Now only i came to know this website, so i am sharing my experience, as well be catious with this personal loan.
I have salary account in HDFC from 2008 so i got a call from HDFC stating that you have pre-approved personal loan and already iam planning to take the loan for my expenses. At the moment i got a call from HDFC i agree with that. From the bank side they said you have to give the address proof, passport size photo and 3 cheques because of pre-approved. The executive came and collect the necessary documents and they said with in 3 days your loan amount got deposit in your account hence it is pre-approved one.
The executive collect the documents on the morning, by that day afternoon i got a message in mobile stating that
"congratulations! your completed personal loan app is now accepted .pls.quote Ref.no 17068578 for any status update - HDFC Bank Ltd. T&C Apply".
on the same day i got a message in the evening stated that..
"Dear Customer yr appln of personal loan A/C no.17068578 for a is Approved. Our rep will call you shortly. Rgds HDFC Bank Ltd. T&C Apply".
After i got this message, i felt my loan amount got approved. So i felt bit relax and i commit some requirments based on this money.
7 to 8 days gone... no replies from the HDFC. so i have inquired the executive, who came and collected the documents and he said your loan is rejected for some reason. I got shocked and i dont know what to do with that time.i asked him for what reason they rejected, he said i dont know, have to check with manager. i ask him to check with his manager. As well i have asked my 3 cheques back. But till now they didn t gave me back. But from the next day whenever i called he never pick his mobile. so i left that option and start trying for other bank.
After a month again i got a call from HDFC personal loan stating that you have pre-approved loan, I have clearly told to that customer call girl, last month i have applied and my loan got rejected.so is that applicable to apply now.she said, yes you can apply now, again i have produced same more documents but this time i didnt get any message after that she said your previous loan execution is under "Fraudualnce" so we can t process this loan. In their "Term" they said as "REC" its sound as "REC" i.e fraudalance. i am more confused and shocked this time.what fraudlance i did. so through my friend- friend who is working in HDFC other division, through him i checked the status. He said clealrly, when i was executed the loan first time that people put it as remark " Fake documents" . i wonder that i have HDFC salary account from 2008. All the documents are so transparent then how?
Till now i couldn t understand why they did like that? Through one of the executive, recently i came to know that in "my name" they have remarked in database as "REC that means fraud" He said this will affect your career in future. so try to remove this bad remark. so i don t know what to do this and how to resolve this issue? In my opinion HDFC is very very poor and careless service towards the customer.
So people be-aware of personal loans especially with pre-approved loans. Moroever customer executive peoples talk nicely before you taking the loan, once they collected the documents and their services in damn worst.
Ps: Once they file your name under "Fraudlance" you can t take loans in other bank also.so peoples please be careful with this banks.
