My name is Mahua Chakrabarti. Due to unavoidable reason, I want to surrender my gas connection with Hindustan Petroleum. Previously, my consumer number was 619728 when the LPG outlet was at Sainik, Behala. Now, having moved to Kethopole, Behala our consumer number has been changed to 619758.

We inquired with Kethopole over phone concerning the procedure for disconnection and surrender of gas cylinders. First, the phones are never picked up. It took us seven days of calling before we could finally get through. Second, not only did they not let us know what needs to be done, but the person dealing with customer service was extremely rude. It is offending to come across such behaviour from a customer oriented company (HP here) dealing with customers in such rude ways.

It will be kind of you to let me know what procedure to take to disconnect HP gas connection and surrender my LPG.
