My account and sort code, 402310/71482254. i have had a buisness account at the harlow branch for ten years. in 2004 my business went bust and i owed hsbc £60, 0000 on a overdraftv account. i have paid them back every penny with interest. when i finished paying them back there was a small direct debit that i had was left on the account, i had a small amount of funds left on the account, approx £160. because i did not realise that the direct debit was still being paid i gradually became overdrawn. the amount overdrawn was £45, to date hsbc want £1681.82 in interest and charges, i have refused to pay this as i think in grossly excessive. i have phoned and written to hsbc on many occasions but they insist that i pay this amount. ther is no way i will ever pay this. kevin green
