I have a concern here. I am looking for a number change & I called Vodafone CC and spoke to an agent who did confirm that I can get my number changed by just walking into a Vodafone store. I did go to Frazer town store and spoke to Sandeep who said Vodafone cannot change the number because I am using Hutch number. Sandeep advised me to take a new connection. I walked out from the store and called Vodafone customer care and spoke to Agent Nandita who said I can change my number without any issues. I then explained her that I was told by Sandeep from Frazer town outlet I cannot change my number because I am using a Hutch number and now Vodafone is taken over hutch. She then said she will revert to me with an update by tomorrow 3PM. I am not a new customer with Hutch/Vodafone. I am holding this connection from 4years.
I think either the outlet folks are not clear with their own company products and services or the Agent on the floor who answers customers call.
If I take a new connection I am not sure if I will get the same credit limit and same talk plan?
I would request you to look into this ASAP and update me on what should be the next course of action.
