I am holding an ICICI BANK credit card. I made a payment of Rs 13157.23/- from my HDFC Bank account. The same cheque got cleared from HDFC Bank on 05/07 .ICICI bank has manipulated with this payment by showing as credit/Debit etc and ultimately this is still appearing as overdue. I have stopped using credit card once I came to know about this manipulation. I have talked to the customer care and I have also sent few mails but there is no response. Inspite of all this ICICI bank is sending the statement every month with late fee and interest charges which is totally illegal. Now some people from bank have come to my residence for the payment and tried to do some wrong practice. I have also talked to Mr. Gaurav Rajput (9999623231) as per their letter dated 22/8 but he has also not resolved the issue.
Now ICICI bank has debited Rs 13220.95 from my savings account. This amount was meant for the repayment of EMI of housing loan which I took from ICICI bank only. With all this wrong practice of the ICICI bank I have stopped paying the EMI of my loan.
I need compensation from ICICI bank for this mental harrasmment which they are doing from last one year.
