My IFB washing machine Senator 6kg started giving problems of water leakage. I have an AMC for two years from Oct till Oct. The company technician who attended the complaint claimed that the drum was damaged and wneeded replacement. He also showed us a coin which he claimed he pulled out from the machine. This he said was the customer's fault and therefore I would have to pay for the cost of the drum. This is an obvious scam on the part of the company where rather than replace any parts free of charge as required by the conditions of the AMC, they teach their mechanics to show a coin and tell the customer that the machine is damaged due to the customers negligence. Customers need to be made aware of this and avoid signing an AMC with companies like IFB
