POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE

Since last more than two months the IFB washing machine for which I am having the extended waaranty on payment of fees is not working. I, therefore, lodged a complaint with the concerned call center of IFB. In response to my first complaint, the mechanic came after about three days. He was absolutely ill equipped to understand the technical fault in the machine. He, therefore, regretted his inability to solve the problem. Thereafter, two more mechanics in sucession visited my mahine without sucess. All of them were prompt in advising me not go for the IFB fully automatic washing machine instead of solving the problem. At last, justifiably I Iost my temper and threatened to the concerned person in charge of recording the complaint at the call cetnter of IFB to go public if my complaint was not properly attended. In response thereto, I was given the contact number of the local executve of IFB at Ahmedabad. The local executive answered my call on his mobile after about 10 attempts. He, in turn, assured me of visit by company's qualified mechanic. Thereafter, the company's mechanic came and dismentaled the entire machine by stating that the drum which is a vital part is to be replaced alongwith bearings. Thereafter, he left by promising to return within three days with spares to be replaced. However, therafter, he dis not turn up as per his promise. I, therefore, tried to contact the local executive of IFB at Ahmedabad on his mobile. But, there is no response at all.
