I purchased the IFB Washing machine (Executive plus) model around 6 yrs. back. After 3 yrs. of purchase the drier motor was
gone out of order & I had to spend around 4, 000/- for repairing by the IFB service men.
At present, the drum has lost its balance & is producing cracking sound while rotating & is not in a position to operate.
After lodging complaint through net, the service man attended on the very next day. As per him, the ball-bearing of the drum is damaged, which resulted the balance loss of the drum. He prescribed to replace the entire drum as the ball-bearing cannot be changed alone, it is fixed with the drum. The cost will be around 5, 000/.
I spent more than 21, 000/- at the time of purchase, I also tried to use the machine as directed. Why the machine is so designed when one has to incurr 9, 000/-, if not more, within 6 yrs. of purchase. People go for the best considering the product quality
as well as its long life.
Can the company exchange the machine?
