Sir, The subject complaint pertains to my Daughter's Airtel Prepaid SIM, activated during 2008.

SIM # 89919 50000 09020 74871.
Due to some unsolicited messages & calls, this mobile no. was taken from her and was being used by my wife, without changing the name. Hence this was sparingly being used, but activated frequently & last used on 11th & 12th of January.
On week later SIM regn error appeared & Ihad approached Airtel office Kadavanthra, EKM on 21st January and they made the necessary clarifications and informed me theat duplicate SIM could be issued if I produce ID proof.
On this basis I went there with necessary proof, but they informed me that as per the system, they had issued a duplicate SIM on 18th Jan & the name of owner is one Chandu??
Please note that Iam getting some MISSED CALLS from the above mobile no, in my LAN phone no. Certain other friends also told that such missed calls are coming very frequently. Ikept the mobile in OFF position, still the missed calls are coming.
This is a very grave situation. I think somebody is misusing this SIM for some unauthorised mischiefs.
Hence I humbly request you to either connect me back the prepaid mobile no : 9746432627 in the above SIM card # 89919 50000 09020 74871, or TO PERMANENTLY FREEZE THE NUMBER.
Your early action is highly appreciated.
