I travelled from Quilon to Vapi by Train No 2997 on 28th June The train was started operations since April and still the railways have not alloted Pantry Car for the journey. Since the entire journey spans 48 hrs, the passengers are at the receiving end for railways negligence. There is no proper planning being done before starting a train and ultimately passengers are the sufferers. We have to rush to the Railway stalls at platforms for food and drinks when train halts at a station, putting passenger security at risk.
