Tax Refund

Dear Sir,

I have submitted Income Tax Return Form on 30th November for Assessement Year 2004 for PAN No AYHPS7852F at TRO & Assessing Officer, Range-7, Pune. The Refund Amount is Rs.1949/= .By June I was transfered to chennai but didnt get any amount till today After sending Registered post with details to the above said address on 17/03.I contact the officer by phone (020-25412213) and I was told that it was long back and it was closed and it was not possible. Will I get my money back or Is there any other way to get the money back Please inform.
