Repeated faulty Bills sent by MSEB

We a flat in BT Kawde Road Pune in my mother s name- Bulbul Choudhury.

The address and MSEB Consumer Number and details for both of them are :

This property, D2-602 is in Citadel Enclave, BT Kawde Road.

This flat was vacant in the month of July and August because my parents were out of town. Hence there has been hardly any change in meter reading as well.

MSEB has considered the Meter reading as "FAULTY" and charged us Rs550 despite no usge in the month of July.

Again for August, we have received a bill of 430, meter reading marked as FAULTY.

When we are not present in a flat for two months, obviously the usage will be 0. Why should the reading be marked faulty then? We had to pay the bill for July fearing power will be cut for the flat. Had sent a mail to MSEB though, highlighting the issue. No response ever came from them.

I am not ready to pay the August bill now. But fear discomfort to my tenants who have moved in from September into this flat.
