I have been a loyal & proud Maruti Suzuki Customer, with already having happily possessed Zen & Alto. Recently with lot of excitement had booked Maruti Suzuki Desire VXI on 01/04. The Booking was done at Sai Service, Vasai vide receipt no V09MV00044 with a confirmation that the delivery of the said vehicle will be done on 01/05.

But regretfully I have been informed by the said dealer that due to delay in dispatch of Vehicle from Companies end, there is short fall of the car in market and thus the delivery will be delayed. To my horror the delay is indefinite. I have further confirmed the same with other 2 dealers in Mumbai, who have given the similar response to my query.

I am writing this query/complaint with an intention to know, that whether the scarcity of vehicle in the market is true. Also that whether the response given to me by the dealers is correct. And if yes, why there is a delay in dispatch of vehicle to the customer. I have been coming across many grapevine & rumours about the car having some technical issues, of which the company is testing and thus the delay.

Further, I request you to reply to my query as soon as possible as I have already got irrate with the postponement and started enquiring for other brand which is readily available.
