Problems against hasanpur gas agency, hasanpur j.p.nagar u.p which distibuter’s code no 06-01-8084

Subject: - Complaint against irregulary supply & delivery of underweighted and unfairly priced L.P.G. gas cylinders by local gas-agency dealer at Hasanpur disst. Jyotiba Phule Nagar (U.P.). Whose distributor’s code number is 06-01-8084.

Sir,

We, the signatory to this complaint, are members and office bearers of Mathur Vaisha Sabha, Hasanpur which is a non-political philanthropic organization.

It is with a deep sense of dissatisfaction and annoyance that we are lodging this complaint with your honour, with the hope and confidence that due and speedy’s step will be taken to ameliorate the situation.

At present the position is: -

The agency owner and his socalled hawkers are charging excessive price. No cash-memo, on which the fair is printed is given to the consumers and if he insists on getting it, he is deprived of his cylinder and threatened with dire consequences.

2-That there is no proper arrangement for registration of request for cylinders either in person or through telephone. The consumers have to run again and again in order to get their request for supply of gas duly registered at the depot.

3-That the so called hawkers of the gas, who represent the gas agency- owner, neither wear uniform, nor carry with them their identity card or spring balance. They collect the prices of cylinders at unfair and excessive rates, and do not give any receipt printed or unprinted for the cash charges which they charge from the consumers, To ask for it is to evoke quarrel.

4-That the delivery of the gas cylinders at the house-steps of the consumer is no more than a daydream. Even after the registration of his request for the supply of the gas, he has to make repeated rounds to the gas depot which is situated at a distance of three or four km. from the town and has to incur an expenditure of fifteen to twenty rupees extra-over the price of gas to get the cylender. But this is no end to his troubles. Before the gas cylinder is delivered to him, he is pressed to purchase a plastic gas tube and pay Rs. one hundred and fifty for it. It matters little whether he needs or not. He is compelled to buy it.

Under these circumstances, we once again entreat your honors and other officers as well to whom a copy of this complaint is endorsed, to look into the matter without delay and ensure regular and timely supply of L.P.G. gas to the duly registered and eligible consumers at their door steps at fair price which is printed on the cash memo, by duly uniformed hawkers carrying their identity-cards and spring balance with them.

Thanking you in anticipation and awaiting the acknowledgment of receipt of this complaint.
