I had recently undergone Angeoplasty and is under treatment from Max Balaji Hospital. After 6 months I was advised to take Blood Test (Lipid Profile etc.) I had given blood sample on 7th May and was informed by the Hospital Pathology staff that the results are as per desirable limits and was asked to give another blood sample next day ie 8th May.
I had given the sample again after fasting for 12 hours. On 8th May I was given the report which read HDL Cholostral as 4.6 whereas in the case of diabetic patients it should be in the range of 40 and above. I had asked for the report of the blood sample of 7th they did not provide and however said that on the 8th sample report has mentioned (results rechecked).
My attending doctor was surprised and informed me that this reading is absolutely nonsense and cannot be true. With 4.6 HDL it is impossible for the patient to survive and was recommended another test by a reputed path lab.
I had given sample again on 9th with the independent lab and the HDL is 34
I would like to take this issue to consumer court the Hospital authorities for my mental harrassment and also my family members for last 4 days.
You may register my complaint and proceed further. All documentary evidences (ie) reports from Max Balaji and the independent lab will be furnished at appropriate time.
