Re: Request to stop the illegal construction at WZ 1304, Rani Bagh, Delhi – 110034.
Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your notice that, I am a resident of Rani Bagh area and wish to inform you that there is serious unauthorized construction going on in our locality which has made the life of the residents miserable. Mr. A.K.Chopra r/o WZ 1304, Rani Bagh, Delhi – 110034, is presently doing unauthorized construction at the aforesaid address. He has already illegally completed that construction work of adding 4th floor, publicly making a mocary of all local bye laws and MCD regulations. Local residents of this area have given several warnings to him to stop the unauthorized construction but he has ignored/neglected all such requests and warnings and has not stopped the illegal construction. He has inturn started the construction of adding the 5th floor thereby causing great threat to the safety of the neighbors as the building structure is very weak.
He is also running a factory from the aforesaid address which is not allowed as per the norms as this is a residential area. He has installed heavy machinery inside his residence which causes lot of air and noise pollution. It is also pertinent to state that he is running the factory on residential electricity connection and does not have a commercial electricity connection.
We had requested the local administrative body including the office of Deputy Commissioner, MCD, Rohini Zone (copy enclosed), to come into action to stop the unauthorized construction but all such requests have fallen on deaf ears. It is pertinent to state that the local administrative body is allowing him to carry on the unauthorized construction by becoming mere spectators. This construction is creating lot of miseries for the residents around and is a threat to normal living and if this unauthorized construction is not stopped immediately it will encourage others to follow the same practice. Such unauthorised construction is a serious threat to the peaceful living of this residential area and it is therefore prayed before your goodself that immediate action should be taken against him to stop the ongoing illegal construction and to demolish the unauthorized structure that he has already built.
