I applied for MTNL unlimited broadband connection on 04.02.09. The application reference is 45500036. I was promised that within a week both telephone and internet connection will be installed and working. After a week the documents were collected and the installation charges taken by cash. Then after waiting for another week the telephone (number 28041538) was installed on 13.02.09. I was informed internet modem will be installed in next 3 days.
Since then i am waiting and till now no modem has been installed. I have called each and every number possible. Called 1500/1504/197 and local sector exchange. The response one gets simply pathetic. Noone is ready to listen. They are ill-mannered and simply gives me another number to call which most of the time doesnt work.
I am really frustrated about this and reached the stage where i want to cancel the services now.
