Its been near about 3 weeks now that my complaint had been registered as 'urgent' by the MTNL folks, since then I have registered numerous other 'urgent' complaints, but to no avail.
The attitude of MTNL employees when addressing a customer complaint is nothing short of pathetic, there seems to be a total lack of accountability, with the customer care officials blaming the inefficient line man who does not respond to the complaints while the line man returns the compliment by saying that he never recieved any complaint.
