This is in regards to the problem that I have been facing with my DVD drive on my Aspire 3000 machine.
I had the original drive replaced a year after I bought my laptop from Acer as it didn’t read CD’s or DVD’s anymore. However now 18 months later the new drive too isn’t working and it is really a serious problem if DVD drives that Acer is installing can’t even be used for 2 years at a stretch especially when your warranty is only for 12 months on replacements.
Please let me know how I can go about getting this sorted out as this problem with the DVD drive is the main reason that I may not be able to ever buyer Acer products in the future.
