PASSPORT DELAY

Hi Sir,

My name is Annapurnamma. I applied for the passport on 24-02.When I checked the status online it is showing the status as "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". How much long it will take to come the passport. I need it urgently So I am requesting you to please answer my question.
