Dear Sir,
I had applied for new Passport. The form was deposited in DC Passport Office, Ambala vide Registration No. Z330402 dated 13th February. My Police Verification was also conducted and completed in the month of May. However, I have not received my Passport till date. Rather it is surprising to note when I read the message on checking up 'Passport Status' reading as "FILE REFERENCE NUMBER (Z330402 OF CHD) IS EITHER WRONG OR iNFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE".
It is surprising that my wife's passport bearing registration No. Z330401 applied on the same day has been received back. It seems that my application file either is missing in the Passport Office or it is not being co-related.
I am worried about the same as I alongwith my wife wish to go abroad to see our Son who is there. Please arrange to let me know the status of my Passport No. under registration No. Z330402.
