I V. Gopala Krishna (LP) a customer having a Policy bearing No 673676474 and the Policy commenced from 28.6.2006 and brought to the kind notice of LIC of India for favorable action on the above subject matter after a prolonged correspondence with the Branch Manger, CAB 706.
The above policy was commenced from 28.6.2006 and the first 3 monthly premiums were paid by me vide Receipt No: 0038606 Dt: 18.7.2006 for Rs: 1923 /- for the months of 6/06, 7/06 and 8/06. Based on the requisition of the LIC from 9/06 my D.D.O (Superintending Engineer, N.S.J.C. O & M Circle, Narasaraopet) was started recovery of Rs: 641/- P.M from salary regularly and transmitted the D.Ds through Reg. Post as shown in the Statement hereunder.
In General Transfers I was transferred from Office of the Superintending Engineer, Lingamguntla to Office of the Executive Engineer, Lingamguntla in the month of 6. From 6 onwards my S.S.S amount for 641/- for the above policy and 296/- for my another Policy No: 673429742 was not recovered by my present D.D.O ie., Executive Engineer, Lingamguntla on some other reasons.
I have deputed agent to Guntur CAB 706 to transfer of my both policies to Narasaraopet Branch. He enquired in CAB 706 and told me it is not possible to transfer my Policies to Narasaraopet Branch due to missing credits.. Further I have paid an amount of Rs: 2563/- for the Dues from 6/08 to 1/09 for my Policy. No: 673429742 so as to update the payment after stopping the recovery by DDO from 6 and later on my Policy. No: 673429742 mode was changed from monthly to yearly and transferred to Narasaraopet Branch.
As verified from CAB 706 my monthly premium of Rs; 641/- was not credited in my Policy. No: 673676474 for the period from 9/06 and 2/07 and 12/07 to 5/08 which was recovered by my D.D.O and communicated to CAB 706. But my another Policy (No. 673429742) Installments recovered and paid to L.I.C. in the same Demand Drafts by my D.D.O. were credited without missing credits. In this connection I am to submit that when the DDO was recovered for TWO POLICIES, simultaneously it is not known how the missing credits were arises for the Policy No.673676474.
But for my Policy. No: 673676474 the dues are shown as 12 to 1 based on that an amount of Rs: 10183/- was paid for revival on 28.1.2009.
But in the ref.5th cited, CAB 706 authorities drafted a letter DT: 10.10.2009 stating that confirmation for adjustment of Premiums for 9/06 to 2/07 in connection with above Policy a Cheque in favour of LIC BO 691 vide C. N o: 201494 DT:24.3.07 for Rs: 5226/- which was enchased on 11.5.07.
Based on that LIC B.O 691 verified the R.R. Register from 3/07 to 6/07 and confirm that the Cheque was not received and requested CAB 706 to verify the Drawee Branch which B.O has taken remittance vide ref. 6th cited.
Further it is to inform that even though my D.D.O was recovered and paid the monthly instalments regularly to the LIC authroties in respect of Policy No. 673676474 from 9/06 to 5/08, the LIC authorities were shown the missing credits from 12/07 to 1/09 instead of 5/08 to 1/09 and recovered excess interest and double payment was collected from me for the periods from 9/06 to 2/07 and 12/07 to 5/08 with interest.
In view of the above said facts, I request the L I C authority the excess interest and double payments collected by me may please be credited in to my Policy. No: 673676474 and regularize the transaction.
