On 28th Day of October - I had placed a request for migration from post paid to prepaid at Airtel Office which is in Nandi Durga Road for the two above mentioned numbers, they told that it takes 48 hour to migrate these numbers. There was an outstanding of Rs.347.86/- in 9945694374, they asked me to pay the bill for this number & the payment was made through cash were they did not accept for the credit card as they told that it takes 7 days to receive the payment and then only they can process for migration, when I asked for the receipt for the cash payment made they told that the printer is not working and they did not issue the receipt, they told it will be sent through SMS. After this payment I handed over the migration form which was signed from my wife at the service counter. They asked us to collect the new sim cards from the prepaid section by paying Rs.398/- for recharging (life time) for both the connections. I had shortage of cash & asked them to accept the credit card but they refused and said for prepaid we do not accept credit card, then I went and withdrawed cash from the other ICICI Bank ATM at Jayamahal Extension and paid Rs.400/- where I didn’t receive the change of Rs.2/- also at the counter and received the sim card.

On 31st Day of October – I had been to the customer care where I had placed a request for migration since the connection was not given. They told that for migration a minimum of 5 days is required it will be done in a day or two.

On 3rd Day of November - Still the connection was not disconnected nor migrated, the moment I enquired about this immediately they disconnected the connection and said that it is in process it may be migrated any time.

On 5th Day of November – for the first number i.e. 9945694374 the sim was activated and recharge was not done, when I asked them to recharge for this number they told that you have not paid the recharge amount that is the reason we have not recharged and started asking to whom have you paid the money and I told that it was a lady who I don’t remember she was wearing saree on that day, then they asked me to come tomorrow since the lady was on leave as she was not well.

On 6th Day of November – I went and enquired for the same they told that she has not come today also you please come tomorrow.

On 7th Day of November – I again went and enquired for the same. They checked up with the lady about my payment for recharge and finally recharged for the first No. i.e. 9945694374 for Rs.199/-. After this I enquired about the second No. i.e. 9900411662 which was given for migration on 28th of November were they told your migration is been rejected due to an outstanding of your bill dated 4th Nov of Rs.290/- where you have to clear this outstanding amount first and then only we can process you migration and then on the same day I paid cash of Rs.290/- were no receipt was issued when I asked for the same they told the same problem that printer was not working. Again I placed a request for migration they said that tomorrow is Saturday & Sunday is holiday by Monday we will post your request by Tuesday the connection will be activated. I said ok and went on that day.

On 13th Day of November – still the activation was not done, once again I went and asked for the same at the service counter, they told that this should have been done already why they are delaying I don’t know sir I will place a request for the same it will be done by tomorrow and asked for the alternate Number and said I will give you a call and tell you the status by tomorrow, I gave my number i.e. 9980168821 and went away thinking that it will be done by tomorrow.

On 17th Day of November – still the activation was not done, I took leave on this day and went to your outlet at 1.30 pm and asked for the same problem were they told that you have not made the payment for the last month an outstanding of Rs.290/- is pending so they have not done the migration. I was shocked and asked them to search for the payment list which was made on 7th of November, they checked all the books and told that, no sir we have not received your payment on that day. I also talked to the lady manager, she did not response properly; even she started arguing with me that you have not made payment. I was fed up and asked her for refund of Rs.200/- which I had given for recharge, for that also they told that you have not given any amount for recharge also. After a long conversatation they again searched the books and gave me the duplicate payment receipt which was paid on 7th of November and requested that, sir by mistake they have were searching last month books where they did not find the entry and told that it was our mistake, by tomorrow afternoon or evening the activation will be given & recharge will also be done. When I came out of your outlet it was 5.30 pm.

20th Day of November – i.e. today still I have not given any connection or recharged.

There is four Service counters were only one person will be working at a time and others chatting here and there, when ever I visit your outlet I wait for a minimum of one and half hour.

Is this the service you give to the customers?

I will lodge a complaint in consumer court regarding this, I am fed up of this Airtel connection, and this is nothing but a mental harassment. I know after receiving this mail activation will be given immediately but it is too late.
