I have sent the below complaint on 21st November and I got a reply from airtel after a week asking for an alternate number to verify my address. And I provided the same and does'nt got any reply yet and even after repeated attempts I was not able to contact the airtel nodal officer mumbai on phone. So my humble request is 'Stay Away From Airtel'.

""Dear Sir,

Myself Mr. Anish Sivaram and an airtel customer for the last 2 years. My no. is 9967303185. Last 4 months back or so i changed my connection from Post paid to Pre-paid. Then I was asked to submit the Address proof and all and I submitted the same with Airtel Gallery Vashi, Mumbai. After one month or so I got a message in my no. that my verification is wrong and I resubmitted the documents again at the same place and ter was no problem for another one month or so.

On nov. 11 I received another message stating that your verification is wrong and visit the airtel gallery within next 48 hrs or so. As instructed I visited the Vashi Airtel gallery again on 12-11 and explained the problem. Then they advised that i will get a call with in next 48 hrs. and your connection will not get disconnected by that time.

I didn't got any call from airtel and irrespective my connection also got disconnected. Again I went to the same gallery on 14-11 and explained the situation. Then they conveyed that you will get a verification call within another 48 hrs. and my connection will be restored. Infact I even provided an alternate contact no. as well (93 234 88 192). But nothing worked out and I am still getting the message "your call cannot be completed and submit the required documents immediately with the nearest airtel gallery immediately". Sorry to say that your reception at the said gallery is so bad and no one will dare to visit there again.

Then I called your customer care people and explained them about the situation. First time ie on 20.11. the person informed me that there is some internal connection problem and she cannot restore my phone connection.

Again I made a call on 21.11. and the guy is advising that he is helpless and visit the gallery and got the problem corrected.

The gallery people are saying always that you will get a call within 48 hrs. and the customer care people are advising to meet the gallery people to restore this problem.

I will highly appreciate to have your advice and restoration of my conenction latest by 24-10, so that I can decide about switching to a better service provider if nothing works out by the time.
