We have a landline cum internet connection from Airtel. A few days back we got the bill for last month (billing cycle: 26 of every month). The bill amount was Rs. 19677 of which DSL usage charges are Rs. 17832. In the first place the bill amount is exorbitant. The bill amount has always been within Rs. 1000 always.

On top of it, we have been charged for downloading on 23, 24 And 25 January as well. But we were out of town from 23 Jan to 26 Jan. When i checked the unbilled amount for this month, it was Rs. 10205 for just 6 days (26 jan - 1 Feb) (Which cannot be)

I did contact Airtel customer service. They have given me a waiver of 50% on the DSL usage charges and made me opt for Unlimited Usage plan (26 Feb onwards). But that does not solve the problem because there is problem with the bill itself and the company is charging me incorrectly this month as well. When I said they have charged me for the days when I wasn't there, they refused to do anything in that case. They say they cannot do anything about next month's bill and i shall have to wait till I get the bill. (By then the bill amount would become much higher)

I want them to provide me the correct bill so that I can pay the actual amount. I also want them to check my bill for next month as well because already they charged a big sum there.
