I am using a airtel postpaid mobile connection since last 2 years. I recently changed my company and filed a request with airtel to change the billing address to residence. I was told that an executive will visit my residence for verification. After 2 days, I received a call from an executive that he will visit around 5 pm. I stayed at home all evening, but no one turned up. Next day I got a message that my verification has been negative and that my connection will be barred. I contacted customer care and requested not to bar my calls, however that was of no use as my calls were barred next day. Finally, to avoid any more harassment i requested the customer care executive not to effect any change in address. But I was told that this change cannot be reversed and if want to keep the original address, i need to submit proof of that address as well.
So, now I am unable to find any way to continue with this connection and will never ever use a airtel connection again. I sincerely apologise to airtel for having used their services and troubled them for rendering services to me.
