Sir/Madam,
I am writting this complaint against Airtel. I had been using Airtel postpaid connection for last 4 years at noida. The connection was in my uncle's name because i was an outstation student and i had no address proof. i used to get a bill amounting Rs 1200-3000 depending upon my usage. I got married in the month of Nov last year and shifted to Mumbai. I was still using the same no. due to the same problem of address. I decided to deactivate my airtel no. as i was on roaming in the month of march and requested for the same. I had made an ISD call on 14th of feb to Dubai as a friend of ours called up. That was the first and last ISD call that i had ever made. As i mentioned it i had placed a request to deactivate my no. it was deactivated on 15th of march at around 11 am. To my surprise i recieved a bill amounting Rs 13, 000/ . When i asked for itemised bill i saw that calls have been made to a country of which i don't even know the countrycode. When i called up to speak to their executives they told me that i have used airtel Live which i have not used in my entire life. My amount that i am suppose to pay to Airtel is Rs 3740/.Later i started getting calls from their officials saying that i have made ISD calls. To my further astonishment when i went through the entire bill those ISD calls were made between 15-18th of March after my connection was deactivated.
I would like you to suggest what should i do next and would want to take a stern action against Airtel for literally harrassing me and wasting my time, energy and money.
