Unsatisfactory service given by irresponsible employee

Hi,

This is with regard to the irresponsible behaviour of Mr. XXXX (working with Airtel Broadband). On Saturday, when I gave him a ring and expressed my interest in 899 unlimited download plan, he was quick to come to my place to collect the cheque and the documents required. At this point of time, I was promised that my connection would be set up by Sunday evening. I handed over the complete set of documents on Sunday morning. I called him to ask as to when would the connection be set up. He refused to set that up on Sunday. Since noon till evening, I called him around 5-6 times, but this person did not care enough to pick any of my calls. I thought of waiting till he himself called up. I did not receive any update from him. On Monday, I called him around 20-25 times (And I mean it) but his person simply ignored each and every call from my number. When I called from some other landline number, the call was picked within 2 rings. This time again I was assured that the connection would be setup by evening (Monday). When I called him in the evening, this person promised to call back in 10 mins. Those 10 mins NEVER came. Simply frustrated and irritated by this irresponsible person's behaviour, I called from an unknown number and gave him a good thrashing. But that also made no difference to him. I along with my flatmate complained at the Airtel shopkeeper

(The one who had referred him). He was again given a good thrashing. But ALAS, that again made no difference to him

Today (May11) also he was supposed to come sharp at 10am to set up the connection but he did not & sent his people at around 12.30pm. He was already intimated of the fact that none of us would be available at that time at it is the office hours and hence, he was supposed to come at 10am. But it did not actually matter to him.

We, the aggrieved customers of Airtel are really discomfited at this juncture. And we need to say that Airtel provides very lousy service atleast while installation. Please improve your service so that the customers don't loose their hope from such an ESTABLISHED BRAND called - AIRTEL

I sincerely hope that some action will be taken regarding this so that you can prevent occurrence of such an issue in the future with any customer.
