Not following DND policy

I am one of the most frustrated customer of the Airtel. They share our number with telemarketer irrespective of the fact whether you are registered under DND or not. I am registed under DND since 14-01. since then I have received almost 200 promotional call. I have 200 complaints pending with Airtel but they have not taken any action against. For some of the telemarketers I have received allmost 20 sms / call and no action is taken against.

Airtel is not interested in taking the action against telemarketers as these are working on there own network and taking action would mean loss of revenue.

They are so much hungry and want to make easy money and for that purpose they don;t mind harrasing there customer.

There customer care executive would give you pre typed message against each one of your complaint. I caught them once when they send me response to my query and they forgot to change the name of addressee and also mobile number and send the same to me.

TRAI is also not interested in taking action against these operators

I have another connection from vodafone, and this number is shared by me with all my service provider but never received a single marketing call/ sms till date. This is the difference between both of them.

I would suggest if you want to avoid receiving non sence calls go for vodafone and through out Airtel
