Non activation of SIM card

My Commanding Officer Wg Cdr L Joseph took a SIM card of Airtel under CUG scheme bearing Mobile no.-9717778529 in the month of March after payment of Rs. 785/- including service tax. The SIM could not be used due to some unforeseen reasons. On 21st of July Airtel was contacted for activation of SIM. Mr. Alok a rep of Airtel visited to my office and informed that the SIM has been blocked and it requires all requisite documents and photograph again for re-activation. He was supplied with all the requisite documents and a photograph. He promised that the SIM will be activated after 48 hrs. Till 25th of July we waited for activation but the same has not been done yet. Now I am forced to make a complaint against the service provider on behalf of my Commanding Officer. It is understood that in such a technologically advanced age such delay in activation of mobile may cause heavy financial loss to the consumer.
