Tormenting and demanding mony without bill

Recently I received a letter from advocate but no bill, however I will pay the amount to avoid harasment, but people should know the way they do it.

Dear Sir

I had a phone account (Cell no: 9831674613) in your company I closed the account on: 08 12 2008 after paying a last due amount: Rs.395 in your authorised payment office: SUN Telecom Gariahat Road Cash Receipt serial no: 1708361. The man in the counter calculated the amount adjusting my initial deposit and confirmed me after payment of the said amount that the account will be closed. After some days some body from Airtel contacted me over phone and confirmed about the account closer he also requested me to continue with the account but I had to go abroad so I refused.

But to my surprise after 3-4 months some body called me and said that he is from Airtel. He said that I have Rs.700 due towards my account. He even could not manage to find out any account of my last payment but he threatened me that if I did not pay he would send some body to get the amount from my residence (probably forcefully as his tune suggests). I told him without getting the details of my due (the last payment and initial deposit and the period for whatever due I incur) I am not going to pay any thing to anybody. However nobody did appear.

Few days back again (10 10 2009 morning) a lady called me and told the same thing; she also could not give any details of the due and my last payment or initial deposit but threatened me of legal action.

In the entire period I did not receive any letter or written communication on behalf of Airtel detailing the claim and the reason thereof. So it is my request to you please take some action and let me know the exact
