Fraud in allotment of new numbers

I have taken a new AIRTEL connection with a corporate package (Airtel 249 - 1 sec pulse).

I have contacted Air-tel executive and submitted all the necessary documents alongwith the filled-in application on 04 11 2009 (04th Nov) at 13.30Hrs. During the allotment of connection after collecting all the necessary documents (Proofs and photos) he has checked the availibility of the requested number and allotted the same to me and informed me that it would be activated in the next 24 hours. But it has not been activated yet and I didn t get any response from Airtel executive in this regard.

I called him next day and enquired about the status of Sim. I got a response that I need to pay Rs.2000 - to activate the sim.

Till now I didn't get any response from Airtel customer care, Airtle Nodal Officers team or Appellate Authority of Airtel.
