My ISD facility, which I use everyday, has suddenly been deactivated without any prior information or any issues like overdue payment.
Since it is very important for me to make ISD calls, I have made 5 calls since last evening to Airtel customer care asking why it has been deactivated and when it will get activated again. On every occasion, I have has to wait for about 10 minutes before the customer care guys either disconnect the call or say that it will be done in 1-2 hours. They have not been able to give any reason for the issue, other than saying 'maybe it is a mistake'.
Needless to say, nothing has been resolved and there seems to be absolutely no accountability.
I, for sure, will change to another telecom operator the day number portability is a reality.
