Loss of simcard

Sir/madam

I am having an airtel connection bearing number 9010440611 which is a prepaid lifetime connection. I have lost the simcard of this connection when the phone was given for repair. the number is registered in the name of my husband V.K.Krishna Kumar, resident of B-7/33 (GF), Sector-15, Rohini, Delhi-110085 (now changed to 110089). I would be very grateful if the simcard is blocked so that no one else can make use of it and i would also like to know the procedure as to obtain a new sim card for the same number. i shall be grateful if you would let me know at the earliest.
