I subscribed to Lonely Planet Magazine in July and my subscription started from August for a period of one year (subscription no 27344964). At the time of subscribing, the magazing was offering a free gift of a Hidedesign purse along with 1, 2 and 3 year subscriptions. In the terms and conditions, it was mentioned that the free gift would be delivered 6-8 weeks after the delivery of the first subscription issue.
I waited for 12 weeks for the gift and when I didn't get, I called up their customer care number, 02239898090 and was assured that I would be getting it in 15-20 days. A month later, I had still nott received it so I called again. I was once again given the 15-20 days assurance. This has been going on till date. I even emailed them ([email protected] and [email protected]) 3 times but no one even bothered to reply back to the email. Till date, I have called up their customer care number at least 10 times and have spoken to 3 different people there, Madhuri, Sheetal and Shalaka. They have all given me the same assurances but nothing has been done yet.
This is not something one would expect from the Times Group. I am totally fed up with this lack of response from their end. Hope they will take some action after this complaint.
