We request you to look into this billing irregularity as the house is in closed condition and no electricity is being used. In case the meter is faulty, the same shall be repaired urgently by MSEB.

I wish to inform you that my house is in closed condition since possession is taken and I have been getting bills of 80-90 Rs as minimum bill due to meter rent, etc.

However for March and April even though meter is not reading anything 271unit for march and 271unit for April are counted and bills of 1500Rs for each month is raised. We have paid the bill, but request you to check in this problem and correct our bills (adjust in future bills).

Also, the meter status shown is INACC, which we guess means in-accurate. in this case if required request you to arrange for replacement of meter so that correct bill can be raised by you.

We again write that the house is not occupied and hence zero readings can be correct.

Request you to please take necessary action to regularize the bill.

Details of the bill and consumer details are in the attached faulty bill.

best regards,

Anish Toma
