I am one among the most frustrated Bangalore citizen for getting passport. I have applied for Fresh Passport for my son in the month of 01/01, its almost a year and i have still not received passport for my son, Since I am single parent passport officials said that they will do Police verification where as my son was just one year old when I applied. Soon after I applied the passport an officer from Koramangala Police station came and did the verification. But even aft one month there was no new from passport office. When I went for enquiry got to know that still they didnt receive any files from Police verification. Then we got to know that the file has been moved to vivek nagar police station. So one more verification was done. When i go online to check the status they say that Passport office has received verification and its in process. But still no reply. I called customer care service even they quote the same statement as it is in the online service. Its been more then five months since they received police verification files but still no clue of what happened to my son's passport. Being a single parent i have really faced many problems in getting my son's passport. Still waiting.. can anyone help me on how to proceed.
