Dear Sir,
I, Abhishek Dey, File No.: CAL-A072199-09, applied for passport on the 1st of October. However, there has been no response ever since by police or any authority to conduct verification and submit the police report so that my passport can be issued.
Sir, I presumed that the time gap between application and reception of a normal passport could have been to the most 2 months given my documents have been verified and I had no problems whatsoever during application to the regional office in Kolkata. My joining date to the company I enrolled in (TCS) has arrived and there is a mandatory passport requirement during the joining.
I would be honestly grateful to you and all the authorities if the process of passport issuance is hastened and my police verification is conducted as soon as possible. It would be also helpful if I am told where to report my problem so that I can expect that steps are taken by authorities to complete this process.
