Today morning i.e. 11th January I went to Idukki passport cell and wanted to apply a passport for me. I was keeping my Election Identity card, Ration card, gas connection receipt etc. for address proof and a letter from the Grama panchayat for my residence proof. The authorities are not accepting any of the documents. I called the regional passport office, kochi for help and I was trying for a about one hour, no one was picking up the phone. Though I keep the various proofs with me, they are not accepting my application.
What is their problem in accepting the application, let them clarify or verify the address later through the police.
Kindly take up the matter with the authorities to do the needful urgently.
