Sir/Madam,
I have applied for passport renewal (File Ref No. MASC02415711) on 28th June’11, and till date I have not received the passport. On 08-SEP, I had been to Chennai passport Office to check the status, and I was told that I would receive the passport in 10 days. Now it is almost 20 days after the enquiry date. Again, when I went to passport office on 28th Sep’11 and enquired about the status, they said, police verification report is pending from Erode. I don’t understand, why they give such contradictory information. And also, the website (passport.tn.nic.in), SMS and phone calls doesn’t help people in giving the proper status of the passport and moreover we don’t get reply too, when we call or send SMS, or even E-mails. Really putting people into hardship.
Because of this delay, all my abroad opportunities are also getting delayed. Kindly Expedite and issue me the passport at the earliest.
