There are lot of cases against the builders for fraud and cheating. They use to do fraud in open because they know that they will escape by giving a meager interest on the investment done by the investors. Moreover they have to pay the entire amount plus the interest only after case goes in favor of investors after 2-3 years of fighting. Between that time builder enjoy the money and can invest the hard earned money of investors in their selfish needs and make easy money out of it.
Investors in that time frame goes in the pain and agony because he is common man while builder appoints one person for this work and enjoys. In this time investors undergoes lot of stress and tension and effects his health. Hence this is evil to society and should be treated very strictly and once proved investor should not only be awarded his money back but also hefty amount to compensate his mental agony.
Until and unless, the law against the builder is strict they will continue to do their fraud and cheating.
